Intervención interdisciplinaria con niños, niñas y familias en situación de vulnerabilidad: retos y oportunidades

 

Las Jornadas Europeas GROWING TOGETHER son una plataforma internacional en la que se propone dar a conocer presentaciones académicas, talleres, intervenciones y estudios de caso en el ámbito del acompañamiento y la implementación del apoyo a la parentalidad positiva. Estas jornadas forman parte del proyecto Grow In Family Today (GIFT), cuyo objetivo es promover el desarrollo de las relaciones positivas dentro de las familias en su dimensión emocional y educativa.

El objetivo de esta jornada es informar y formar sobre las diferentes realidades de los  niños, niñas y familias y los retos que suponen para los profesionales.

La evolución y la diversidad de las nuevas formas de familia y de los modelos educativos y culturales, obliga a los y las profesionales a adaptar su visión y sus prácticas, a repensar sus métodos de apoyo y acompañamiento a padres, madres y familias. De hecho, si las acciones de apoyo a la parentalidad habilitan a padres y madres a estar acompañados en el ejercicio de sus responsabilidades, también deberían habilitar a niños y niñas a crecer en un ambiente favorable. Desde esta perspectiva también se requiere que los/las profesionales vayan evolucionando a la par que los sistemas familiares avanzan.

UNA PRESPECTIVA INTERDISCIPLINAR E INTERNACIONAL

Las jornadas presentadas tendrán una perspectiva interdisciplinar e internacional, ya que participan cuatro países (Rumanía, Francia, Italia y España) y profesionales de diferentes ámbitos que tienen en común la intervención familiar.

DIRIGIDAS A:

Las jornadas están dirigidas a profesionales que trabajan con familias en el ámbito público o privado, en servicios sociales, educativos y de salud. También, a investigadores/as y estudiantes interesados/as en las temáticas propuestas.

BLOQUES TEMÁTICOS:

Para llevar a cabo los objetivos marcados se han distribuido los bloques temáticos por días:

• Día 3 de marzo : Reflexiones y retos sobre el trabajo en red con familias, niños y niñas
• Día 4 de marzo: Dimensiones éticas en los servicios y la participación de las familias
• Día 5 de marzo: Innovación como resultado de la reflexión sobre las prácticas profesionales

Interdisciplinary intervention with children and families in a vulnerable situation: challenges and opportunities

European Days is an international conference which proposes academic presentations, workshops, interventions, and case studies in the field of support and implementation of parental guidance and positive parenting.

• Day 1: Challenges in the joint intervention of services and networking
• Day 2: Ethical dimensions in services and family participation
• Day 3: Innovation as a result of the reflection of professional practices

The aim of this conference is to inform and train professionals working with children, parents and families in social work and education and to share the field experiences from 4 countries: Romania, France, Italy and Spain).

European Days are directed to professionals working with families in public o private services on the social, educational and Health field. Also, to researchers or students involved in the proposed topics of the conference.

The general objective of the Grow in Family Today (GIFT) project is to promote the development of positive relationships between parents and children inside the family, in its emotional, relational, and educative dimensions.

Over the past 30 years, our societies have undergone deep changes. The family has not been left apart from these transformations. Divorces and re-weddings are as common as traditional marriages. Multiple changes have occurred such as single-parent families, blended families, homoparental families, medically assisted procreation, adoptive families, legal developments, and so on. In short, family models have become more complex and their structures now take multiple forms. The traditional family is on the decline. It is increasingly difficult to talk about a family model. The western family has become uncertain.

Still, the family remains the first place of socialization and landmarks’ building. It is irreplaceable. The function of parent is no longer obvious in a society where authority must be legitimized. In these circumstances, while it is urgent to recognize and value parenting skills, it is equally necessary to take into account the quality of relationships in the family system and to favour communication (intrafamilial, intergenerational, etc.).

The evolution and the diversity of the new forms of families, of the educative and cultural models, make it compulsory for the professionals to adapt their vision and practices, to rethink the methods of support and accompaniment to parents and families. In fact, if the actions to support parenthood should enable parents to be accompanied in the exercise of their responsibility, they must also enable boys and girls to grow up in a favorable environment.
